IES at KANSAI GAIDAI UNIVERSITY

IES stands for Intensive English Studies, a program implemented at Kansai Gaidai University in April, 1993. The university has two campuses in Osaka Prefecture, Japan (The NEW Nakamiya Campus and the Hotani campus.)

Students in IES are, as the name suggests, taught only in English in a rigorous program designed to improve their communicative skills in English. They have undergone extensive screening to enter the IES program.
